A wallPen is manufactured in Germany and imported into the United States. This page sets out what that means for landed cost, who files what, and how we quote it — so there are no surprises between the quote and the freight invoice.
What lands on the invoice
The machine price, freight, customs duty and any applicable Section 232 or 301 measures, plus brokerage. We quote all of it up front rather than quoting ex-works and letting the rest arrive later.
Who files what
We ship on agreed Incoterms and provide the commercial invoice, packing list and origin documentation. Your broker files the entry; we supply the HTS classification we use and the technical data behind it.
When the rates change
US tariff rates on capital equipment have moved repeatedly. Quotes state the rate assumed and the date it was checked, and we re-confirm before shipping rather than absorbing or passing on a change silently.
